General health care & surgical services

Every department below reports to the same clinical governance board and shares one patient record — so your care is never fragmented between teams.

Surgery

Eight surgical disciplines, one operative standard

Our surgical departments combine fellowship-trained specialists with minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted technology, so that patients recover with fewer complications and shorter admissions wherever clinically appropriate.

Meet Our Surgical Faculty

Minimally invasive procedures for gallbladder, hernia, appendix and abdominal conditions, typically performed through small incisions for a shorter recovery and reduced scarring. Led on both campuses by Dr. Dave Arthur.

Bypass surgery, valve repair and cardiac diagnostics, supported by a dedicated cath lab and cardiac ICU on both campuses. Led by Dr. Amelia George.

Joint replacement, sports injury repair, spine surgery and fracture care, paired with a structured physiotherapy plan. Led by Dr. Harry Edward.

Robotic-assisted platforms for eligible general, orthopedic and gynecological procedures, offering greater surgical precision and reduced post-operative discomfort.

Round-the-clock surgical trauma response, backed by rapid imaging and an on-call surgical team. Led by Dr. Freddie Stanley, Chief of Surgery.

Surgical treatment of chest, lung and esophageal conditions, coordinated closely with our cardiac and diagnostic imaging teams.

Treatment of arterial and venous conditions, including varicose vein procedures and vascular access surgery.

Diagnosis and surgical management of colorectal conditions, including minimally invasive resection where clinically appropriate.
Clinical Technology

Instrumentation reviewed on a fixed replacement cycle

Diagnostic and surgical equipment at Medovara is reviewed and, where indicated, replaced on a scheduled cycle rather than on an as-needed basis — a policy set by our clinical governance board to keep both campuses to a consistent technical standard.

  • 3T MRI and 128-slice CT imaging on both campuses
  • Robotic-assisted surgical platforms in general and orthopedic theatres
  • Digital pathology with remote specialist review
  • Electronic patient records shared securely across campuses
